Do I have to leave my home for pest control?
Brisbane Pest Management uses the same safe chemicals for pest control that are used in hospitals, childcare centres, and restaurants. We suggest that you step outside while we treat the inside of your property.
What happens in pest control?
A standard pest control treatment includes:
Outside – We treat from fence to fence, covering fences, gardens, pathways, clotheslines, rubbish bins, pool areas, sheds, gazebos, outdoor furniture, and the exterior walls of the house. We also treat inside the walls (using dust in weep holes), which lasts longer as it isn’t affected by rain or sun, helping us provide a 12-month warranty.
Inside – We treat cracks, crevices, door frames, window frames, skirting boards, use gels in cupboards (which also support our 12-month warranty since they continue to work over the year), and apply dust in the roof (as dust clings to surfaces and bugs can’t escape it).

Can I really not mop my floors for 5 days after my treatment?
Allow the chemicals to dry on your floors so they can sink in; otherwise, you’ll wash them away. Sweep the edges for a few days and mop the rest of the floor. This lets the chemicals settle and provides good coverage for the next year. No need to leave your countertops anymore, as we use gels now.
Is it safe for pets and animals?
Our treatments are safe for pets. Please keep them away from the area being treated. If your pet is nervous around technicians or overly friendly, kindly keep them secure during our visit.
